Feliz Navidad!

¿Que pasa familia y amigos? Todas es esta bien aquí en Chile, Estamos listo para Navidad, yo creo? Yo tango una pregunta para ustedes. Que es su regalo para Jesucristo eso Navidad?   Okay thats enough spanish for now haha I keep getting all these emails from people using google translator and throwing it spanish for me to read. Its pretty funny becuase google translator does not always function right and sometimes your guyes emails say some pretty goofy stuff.  Sorry I have been so bad at righting you guys lately. I had to get some stuff figured out. But its all good now. This week was good I got thrown into a trio with Elder Allen from Arizona and Elder Robles De Ecuador, Its a good experiance and we are having a lot of success. We have four baptisms set up. But its horrible becuase we have to cover all of Rivas Vicuña. The Ward that I have been stationed in. . I. My sector now is about 10 square miles and we don't have bikes hahah. its pretty bad when we have a appointment in one end the sector and then have one in another end of the sector. We have had to start working in Mini sectors because its so big.
The top part says Whats up Family and Friends. All is well down here in Chile. We all ready for Christmas this year? I have a question for you all? Wat is your gift to Jesus Christ this year. Look at this video on Youtube. Its called He is the Gift o en español es El es la Dádiva. I want a reply from all of you guys this week.
Well I hope you all have a great Christmas thanks for all the love and support you all have given me. I love hearing from you guys. Please dont forget me.

It's like a million degrees down here!

Sorry I didn't get to reply to a TON of you guys this week I had to send some important stuff out and I am really strapped on time. Anyways the mission is good I am learning everyday on how to become better. I have made so many improvements while I have been out here and I have overcome so much. Just keep praying for me guys I need it pretty bad right now. But I know I got this. I can´t quit.

Anyways that's besides the point! Its pretty funny down here its like a million degrees yet you still see guys dressed in Santa suits and you can tell they are just baking! Ha ha its pretty good times out here. We have found 11 new investigators this week which is another huge break through. Another miracle for this week.

Just remember if you are having a hard time in your life that god really does love us and through him it is possible for us to over come anything. We just have to put are trust and faith in him and we will be okay. Sometimes he gives us trials and we don´t understand but its for us to grow and learn. Just remember that someone always has it worse than you.

Well Love you guys tons and I hope that you all have an amazing week this week. I will be sure to try to get to more of you guys next week.

Happy Thanks...MOLD Day!!!

Well yes, This does have a good story behind it I promise! Oh goody. So we had a leak in our pension and we didn't really know where it was coming from until we decided to look under the sink. The statue with Bart and the ties is how we found it. So me and my comp went and bought that strange chileno thing they use for plumbing and I managed to replace it with a leather man and kitchen knife! But that wasn't all there was 2 leaks. The one behind the sink busted on thanks giving and thats when all heck broke loose we had to get the landlord over to help us turn off the water then we had to make a new sink because in the hustle of everything the sink busted and it just turned out it was a huge mold pit. But luckily my dad taught me a thing or two so me and my comp and some suppliles from the landlord where able figure out and repair it.

The kitchen still smells like mold... But thats okay because it makes for a good story. Well actually just kidding you can´t see any pictures of it because the computer decided to fail once again... (what a surprise...) But next week I promise I wll send you some pictures of the good time we got to have ha ha. You just have to see the pictures to appreciate what we went through...

I had a bunch of letters written for you guys but my comp forgot his password to the mission card so he had no money. So we had to go to the office and I wasn't able to send them today. I was pretty peeved. I mean you have been out here for 2 YEARS! You go home in 17 days. You honestly can´t remember a card number you have used for 2 Years? its four numbers.... HOW? Well maybe I need to be nicer to him or something maybe he is having a hard time accepting its time to go home. But this isn't the first stupid thing like this that has happed to him. Not to mention he has decided to go crazy because he is going home and is really non obedient now.

The cool thing is I am now a 100% A missionary now. I am no longer in training. which is cool. Well
as always love you guys tons I hope that you all have a wonderful week this week! I love you all Make this week better than the last. Always strive to become better.

Sick Week!

So this week I had the chance to Baptize Ester Del Carmen Gallegillos Romero
It was a super special experience for me sepecially because of her disabilty of not being able to walk. It took two of us to get it done, but we did.  Elder More and I did it and it was hard, but in the end we where able to get it done with success. We have a couple of more dates set so hopefully they don't fall through. I have been very blessed down here in Chile and it only makes me want to work harder.

We have many plans set for this week. Sorry I can´t make this email longer but please know that I love you all and that I think about you everyday! Also, please know I am working hard out here and I appreciate all of your love, prayers and support. Hope you all have another great week this week!

Let's kick it this week!

Well I am not going to lie, I got pretty beat up this week but I made it through, though and I am not going to ever quit because I know the moment I do that is just one last chance for someone to hear the message of the restored gospel and honestly I know I was sent down here to find certain people and bless there lives forever.

I actually cried this week not going to lie. It felt really good, anyone that knows me knows that I am not a person that gets real busted up over things but I honestly couldn't handle it for some reason I got really busted up over that stuff. But I want to thank you for all your prayers I could literally feel them. I am not kidding guys.

Also another huge thing this week Elder Nelson (yes the apostle) flew down here and gave a conference to my mission and the Santiago Sur Mission. I got to shake his hand. When I shook his hand He looked at me differently than everyone else. Because a LOT of missionaries shook his hand, I could see him the entire time. I think he knew I was really going through heck and I almost started to cry when he looked down upon me. He said something different to me. It was really fast but he usually would just say (hello elder whoever) but I didn't really hear him. It was amazing and I felt so much better after that experience. It was a real blessing for me to see him and his power. This 90 year old man does not know a word of Spanish, he needed a translator to say everything. But at the end of the talk he told the translator to go away. He gave a testimony in PERFECT Spanish. He didn't make one mistake. It wasn't scripted, he couldn't even remember where he was in his own talk a couple of times so you can't say that he just remembered it. He said things that took me 8 weeks say. He really is a man of God. I KNOW this church is true and if your going through hard times sit down (or should I say, kneel down) and pray.

Love you all and just remember I couldn't do this with out your guy´s support and prayers.

A rough week ahead....

Okay... I am not going to lie to you guys. Tuesday the 4th of November is going to be a pretty rough day for me this week. But thats okay because I know that through the plan of salvation we can return to the people that we have lost in our lives. I really do miss my mom and I always want to keep working hard because I know that the harder I work the more people I will be able to help teach the message of the restoration too. That I know, and I hope you all know this, too.

Anyway, this week wasn't super amazing or anything. I have really had to pick up the slack a little bit this week because as always you have to jump through some hoops of fire when you don´t know Spanish that well and your expected to deliver. But you know what? Thats okay because every week I make a lot of progress.

I am sorry that I wasn't able to email you all this week. I got waked pretty hard with some other peoples emails and I wasn't able to get everyone but please realize I will for sure get to you next week. Please keep writing me guys! All of you make the mission a lot easier for me.

Something that I've learned is that if you have any doubts about anything, just sit down (or I should say, kneel down) and pray! Trust me! It really can turn the night to day and it is a commandment from our Heavenly Father. The power of prayer is real guys. Please... remember to make this week better than last week. If your life is rough remember that life goes on and our troubles will eventually work their way out. Just make the best out of bad situations!  That's where you find real happiness. Just remember someone always has it worse than you. Count your blessings and have a great attitude towards life.

Please know that I love each one of you. I adore you guys to be honest. All of you really make it worth being out here. There have been times that I really want to just quit and "throw in" the towel because it just ain't working, but then I remember all of you. Honestly, you guys make it all so worth it. You guys make it so I don´t want to quit or give up. Make everyday better. Always pray and keep going hard and everything will be okay. Well, I'm out of things to say, so all of you have a great week and know that I miss and love you tons.

P.S. A Huge shout out to my friend Erika Casey on her mission call to Cali! Way to be WOMAN!

Well then!

To be Clear
My Preparation Day (P Day) is now Mondays

Also my mailing address is, well actually I will get it next week I forgot it but I sent it in one of my mass emails a couple of weeks ago and it should show up on face-book again soon because of my awesome step mom!

But anyway for this week nothing to wild just another week out in the mission ha ha. But I did have some cool stuff worth talking about this week. The gift of tongues is real. I have made so much progress and its so nice. I can now have a legit conversation with people and know what’s going on which is cool but I still make mistakes and its difficult for me to talk in past tense still but that’s okay because its better everyday. I can also read the preach my gospel in Spanish and know exactly what it is talking about which is also a huge jump for me. The book of Mormon is still tough but that’s okay because I am going to keep working hard and keep on getting better!

Any ways, make time for the book of Mormon guys.... really. It is a huge help in our life’s and God has given it to us to learn from. I know you will receive blessings if you take 10 minutes out of your day and just read a little. Heck all ye all have cell phones just use one of those suckers to take a little time to read the book of Mormon instead of burning time on Instagram or Twitter or Facebook. It sounds dumb but you really will have a better day. I KNOW that I wasn't always the best example but the mission has made me want to change into a better person. Really I know it's easy to become lax and not really care any more that's how I lived but if you make time for god he will make time for you and you will be blessed. that is my testimony for you all. Be grateful for what you have tons of people down here live in some pretty bad stuff.

Well shoot! I am out of time but keep writing me guys I love hearing from you. and it means a ton to me if you take a little time out of your day to write me a quick email.

Not going to lie this week is going to be pretty rough for me.... I am really missing my mom but I know she is proud of me and I know she knows I am working my hardest out here. Well I love you all and I can´t wait to hear from you.

Sup Friends?!

Well, another great week down here in Chile, Not a whole lot happend this week but we did have some pretty soild lessons. I feel like I am starting to get the spanish down so that's nice.  Also, I am able to talk a lot more during lessons and people are able to understand me better which is also super cool. Each day gets better....which is a huge blessing for me. I got a haircut from this crazy cuban dude and it was really cool!  He used a razor blade to cut my hair and its the best haircut I have ever had.

I am still not getting as much done as I want even though I work very hard but that's alright because we will keep going and keep becoming better and better. Make each day better that's my challenge for this week...to all that read my letter. You didn´t have a good week? You didn´t get done what you needed to this week!? Well change it up this week make this week better than the last make each day better, too.

No funny stories this week other than we found a lady that honestly believed aliens would save here and that Jesus was the master alien.  She believed that He would save us one day from the evil race of aliens that live in another galaxy. That was interesting hahahaha.... We also found a church that plays rock 'n roll music every Sunday for there meetings which is way funny haha I about died when we went walking past it. THEY WHERE GOING HARD!! The best part is they where dressed in sunday clothes like us hahahaha.

Did you know that the FLDS have missinarys too!? Neither did I!  However, I am pretty sure I saw some on the streets a couple of days ago. They have green missionary name tags instead of black and I was really confused. I didn´t get to talk to them or anything becuase they where far away but my comp told me that's what they were. I am not sure where there church is or anything down here but it was different.....that's one thing for sure...

Well as always just know I love you all and I miss all of you tons.  Please, keep writing me as you make me look foward to my p-days! Sorry for no pictures.... the computer is being stupid! So, that's all for this week and I will talk...no...write to you guys next week. Remember your goal: Make this week better!

Love you all!

Lunch Time!

Haha so I got a story for you guys this week. My comp for being a trainer is really bad at being orgaized me, being the new missionary am not sure what is going on the entire time but here is what happend. So we went to a house for lunch and when we knocked on the door this guy let us in no problem so we sat down and he was talking to us and then my comp asked so whats for lunch and the guy looked at us like we where crazy and said I didn't make lunch for you guys I am not even part of your church I just let you in because I want to join your church! Ahhh! So we taught him the first lesson and we have another date for him set this t

Anyway I had been praying really hard that we could become more orgainzed this week becuase it is horrible how my comp has messed things up in this sector. It is a mess.... Well it was at least. I had a dream of a new sytem that we could use to become more orgainzed. It is hard hard to explain over email but we have made huge improvements on are lessons we were also able to managed 6 dates this week for baptisms which was huge! I am so thankful that the Lord was able to answer my prayers on how to better organize ourselves.

Any way your advice for the week.
Pray to god (as always)
Organzation is HUGE. You can work as hard as you want but iff you are not organized you might was well shoot yourself in the foot.
Hard work and dedication!

The spanish is coming good it is better everyday. Sorry I can´t make this one longer I have to go now but just don´t forget your friend down in Chile! I love you all and be sure to keep working hard in your own lives and try to become better!

A Good Week!

Well nothing to crazy happened this week to be honest. I got to watch confernce in english which was a super great time. It was nice to kind of take a break and listen to what they had to say. The Spanish is coming good I have made a lot of progress this week for some reason. I came out of a meeting where are president spoke and it was seriously like magic. I could all of the sudden speak and understand Spanish it was really strange.

Some advice I have for you guys. Follow the words of the Prophets, That is a huge thing they centered on this week. I know I wasn't always the best example but now that I have changed and made my self better and worked hard to become a better person. I am so much happier in my life. I am more in tune with the spirt and overall I just feel better with my self. Make a difference be someone better this week. That is my challenge to you. I know if you try you can become so much more than you ever thought you could. Remember you can't do anything with out three elements

1. The power of God. I know God is real. I have had many experiences so far that have testified this to me.

2. Hard work and dedication. Yes its hard to do things and we often don't have time or think I can do it later. That is not the way to live. You all can do anything if you live by these.

3. Good Attitude. Yes I know I spelled that wrong.... But anyway you get the just. Its hard to have a good one some times. This week I got some really nasty eye infection and it has been bugging me all week. I always have a headach and I also have other personal trials. But if you choose to have a good one you can be that much better. IT IS HARD, But it is worth it.

Not a whole lot happend this week other than that. My comp gets to go home soon and he is getting a little lazy so we haven't been able to get as much work done as I would like but I still push him to want to work harder. "I may not be the best missionary but ill be danged if I am not trying the hardest." Pray to Heavenly Father, I plead with you all I want you to feel the happiness I feel. I know you can if you just take some time out of your day. Read the Book of Mormon. You may think I am joking but I am being for real!  You will have such a better day if you do. Even if its just a verse a day. The Lord will see that you are trying to make a difference and you will be blessed.

Sorry to go all religious on you guys this week but its my job. I want you to all be happy because I love you all. I want to thank you as always for all the love and support. You guys really make it worth it seeing that you are all behind me. Please keep in contact I want to hear from you all. Again I love you all especially my family. Huge shoutout to them for all the love and support they have given me

2 Months Down and BAPTISMS!!

My 1st Baptisms (Sebastion & Jose)

Well the title of my Email says 2 months down and Baptisms!! They went through I had the chance to Baptize 2 of the kids which was super special even though I messed up one of the names pretty bad but that's okay because I am not perfect and I realize that. There names are Moises Diego Sebastion Ramierez Villarroel he is the one that is on the left of me in the picture. The other ones name is Jose Ernique Manuel Ramirez Villarroel. It was a super cool experience especially since I came out here with the idea that I might not get that opportunity but I have most definitely been blessed.

Anyway nothing to crazy other than that, For those considering going on a mission. It is not easy I will tell you that now especially if you where like me and wasn't 100% ready to come out. I am fine now but it would of been a lot easier if I would of made sure I was more prepared for what was to come instead of think that it was going to be easy and just another fun experience. I can tell you now that it isn't always fun. It isn't always easy but it will be worth it.

As always I want to thank you all for your support your emails make it so much easier to go on out here and they give me a spirit of dedication and preservar hasta el fin. Endure to the end is what that means. It makes it a lot more worth it at the end of the day to realize that you guys are all rooting for me back at home and that you guys take the time to think about your old friend down in Chile once a week and take the time to write me! I love hearing from you all. I will never take my friends or family for granted ever again.

The Spanish is coming along slowly but surely. its hard but I know I can get through it with your guys prayers and the hand of the lord. Be grateful for what you have that's all I have to say. I have seen some things down here that I have literally made me sick. People that have NOTHING but still give us things like a candy bar or something simple like that.
Well that's all for this week hope you all have a wonderful week and don't forget to write your friend down in Chile its literally gold to hear from you guys and I cant wait to hear more from you all.
Love Elder Johnson.

No BBQ? No Probleemo!

Train Station....with a KFC!
Well anyway this week has been pretty good Ill be sure to send you some pictuers here haha as you can see bajo in the picture that I sent is the view out of the front my house thing! The picture of the kids are the ones that we get to baptize this week and the one with the wheelbarrow BBQ is the BBQ I got to eat at on the 18th for the chilean independence day haha! Pretty funny right!? I got a good laugh to.

Well anyway nothing to crazy happend this week, The power box melted and so we had to get a new one and we didnt have lights or power for a while. The Water heater broke so we had to warm up watter on the stove to wash ourselves off. Anyways I want to thank you all for your prayers you have no idea how much they have helped me out here. It really is not an easy task learning a new language its not easy when people try to talk to you and you have little to no idea what is going on. But it is really getting a lot better. I can understand most of the time what is going on which is really nice. But I am seriously thankful for all the love and support I receive from you guys. Your prayers really do make a difference.

A shot from my compound....umm....apartment
Also the place we went to at first today to email couldn't send pictures that is why I am emailing you later now. So those who got emails earlier today thats why you are getting the mass now. We are doing pretty good out here in the feild. Its pretty fun just the area I am in right now is super hard because there are a ton of Catholics and they really really really hate us. You would not believe what they say to us and what they do to us. Not to mention the Jehovah witness clan sends there group of old farts into the neighborhoods and bombs are chances of ever getting a chance to teach people. Seriously they task force the place they will send like 6 couples into one area randomly and by the time there done people want nothing to do with us because the other people just came by.... It is really annoying. Luckly they don't really bother us personally they mostly stay out of our ways but its tough to get lessons in around here and because of it.
Beyond Red-Neck Grill in the 'Hood!

But we have still had a lot of amazing experiences out here. The food like I said isn´t to strange its just they try to feed you way to much its seriously to much to eat. But you have to eat it all because its super bad if you don´t. The food is pretty bland here for the most part it doesn't have a lot of flavor but its still not to bad I haven't had to eat anything to bad yet which is cool haha!

Anyway keep in touch guys I want to hear from you. I have to go now but Ill be sure to write you all next wekk so keep in touch okay!?

Anyways love ya!

El CRAPIMO (My 1st Area)

Well guess who finally made it out in the field haahha? Oh you know your friend lance here did haha OR should I say Elder Johnson!! Well anyway you are proably wondering why my email is titled El CRAPIMO it because of my house I get to stay in. Haha it is a joke! I took a million pictures of it but I forgot to bring my cable to post pictures of it on email. The thing has Razor barb wire aroud a 9 foot concreat wall and it seriously looks like a priosn. Not to mention the power system. They put like a 5 amp breaker for all the plugs in the house so if you try to run a 2 little heaters at the same time the breaker pops and all the power goes out in the plug system. Heres the best part when you go flip it it usually catches on fire and starts sparking all over the place. I would go buy a bigger breaker for it but I have no Idea where to get one.

My compion is cool. His name is elder Kennighton. He is from north salt lake he is different but he is very good at spanish and makes my job a little easier if I get stuck in a lession. We share the CRAPIMO with 2 latinos they are funny and nice. But hard to understand. They talk really fast just like everyone else down here and they dont know any english.

We have 3 Baptismos on the 27th Its not 100 percent for sure but I think they are going to go for it, I really whish I could show you guys pictures. I have so many stories but no time to talk. I am so sorry I didnt get to email you all this week I ran out of time because last week I didnt get to email because I entered the feild. Anyway I hope all is well at home. Not going to lie I feel a little homesick right now. The spanish is rough and the place is crazy. Not to mention it really is kinda scary here at night. Theres a bunch of gansters called Flightaes down here and they proably wouldnt think twice about killing you if you got in there way. But They do have respect for us just as long as we dont bother them.

The people are really nice down here but they give way to big of lunches ahha you have to eat everything but honestly its TOO MUCH! Seriously they think that we are horses down here or something. Anyways I am so happy to be here and even though it is really hard and it is often not a whole lot fun I know it will be worth it in 2 years. I Love you all and I want to thank you for the support and love you guys give me
Here are my letter address for my mission home. If you want to send me a letter here is the address.
Por Favor post this on Facebook Annette when you get a minute. Also tell tthem I am doing well and that we are going to make it down here haha.

Keep writing me guys I miss you all a ton and I want to hear your storys! I love you all so much thank you for getting me out here and helping me through it I couldnt do it with out your love and support.

September 2, 2014

Well It is finally my last week in the MTC! I am scared but excited to get out there and kick some butt! The Spanish is still kinda rough but I can get the message across now with about anything and I can understand almsot everything someone says to me which is really kind of weird but cool at the same time.

I had to give a talk in Spanish on Sunday which was really crazy it was about 7 mins long which doesn't sound that long but when it is in a crazy a different tounge it is a lot harder than you would think. It was super scary but even the lations said they could understand what I was trying to say and people said that they could feel the spirt when I gave it.

I will say I have been humbled by this experience. I came to a place where I wasn't proficient in anything and I really didn't know enough about the gosple like I thought I did to even teach in in English. Add Spanish to the equation and its a nightmare.

I am just happy that I am finally starting to pick up on Spanish. I felt like I was slower than everyone else which was supper annoying. I hope you guys get my letters soon I sent them forever ago.... Anyway as always I would love to here from you guys so go ahead and shoot me an email when you get a couple of seconds. even if its just a sentence or two I would love to here something from you guys! Well I hope that everyone is doing okay just let me know if I can help any of you with a question you might have pertaining to the gosple or in any other areas you think I can give you advice in.

Oh and one more thing I gave a lesson a couple of days ago to another fake investigator and I finally felt the spirit for the fist time after giving the lesson in Spanish I am getting to the point where I don't have to work as hard to understand the Spanish well I am out of time and I got some dude getting mad at me in Spanish telling me to get off Love you guys! Sorry for no pictures ill get em next week!

August 26, 2014

Well as you guessed from the title of this email we had our fist earth quake down here a couple of days ago. It was about a 5.2 on our scale which isn't huge but the biggest one I have been in. I almost feel over when it started and it sounded like the building I was in was going to collapse. But other than that it wasn't to bad it was pretty funny actually. Ha ha I am finally starting to get use to it down here although every day is one day closer to being out of the CCM. I only have 13 days left. Like no one is counting though or anything. I can't wait to get out to the field.

The spanish is tough but it is coming. I talked to a missionary today That really gave me a boost of confidance. It took him 13 months to get it down. He told me if he could get it down anyone can get it. He even went home for 3 months because he gave up but then he came back out after getting called to the same mission again! What a story! I WILL never come home though only if it is life or death.

I know the church is true guys and I want to let you all know that if you have any questions the lord will be there for you. I can testify to you that he does answer prayers.

Well here is another funny story for this week. We had just gotten out of a church meeting and it was pretty late at night and we where heading back to the mtc to do some planing and there was some naked dude dancing around in fromt of the gates and thorwing beer bottles on the ground. So that was pretty funny ha ha.

Well other than that nothing to exciting just another week down in crazy-ville. its literally nuts down here haha. I can't wait to see what else happens to me on my journey to bring people to the light of christ.

As always be sure to hit me up I want to here about you guys and what you have been doing. Just know I love you all and miss you tons just know that your going to be getting a better lance back than what you already know. I have already made a lot of imporvments.

Well I am not going to lie the time has really started to slip by. Serisouly I can't beleive how fast this week went. Its crazy if you put all your mind and might into the work its amazing what you can accoplish! I just want to let you know I miss you all so much! Well any way this week was pretty fun untill last night. Some stupid elders his a bunch of alarm clocks inside are celling tiles in our room so I got very little sleep last night. I was fuming mad I was about to loose it. Any one that remebers the old me knows that I would of come up with some scheme to get them back and make sure it hit them good. But then I began to wonder what christ would do. I know he would forgive them and move on although it was a pretty lowball move since everyminte of sleep around here is worth its weight in gold. You are always so tired in the MTC and that sleep is valued. But instead of focousing my energy to come up with a way to get back at them I am just going to hide there alarm clocks and if they get mad and tell the president about it I am sure he will be happy to hear about how they got in there in the first place.

Well we got a card saying what day we will most liikely be coming home and everyones said that they should be coming home on July 12th 2016 except for mine. Mine said July 30th of 2016. I am fine with it to be honest it just shows the lord needs me for a couple more weeks than everyone else. Although I am still strugling learning spanish I know that with hardwork and dedication and having the lord by my side anything is possible. I gave my first lesson all in spaish today. It was a little rough but we got through it.

I got the address to the place today. But stupid here forgot to bring his planner to tell you guys about it so thats that I guess. You will get it next week I promise. Its crazy nice wheather down here it went from being about 60 to being about 80 haha it feels like summer back at home which is cool! I really like it down here and although its tough it will be worth it! Love you all so much thanks for the support. And I am being serious! Hit me up I want to hear whats up! Although home is becoming a more back part of my mind I am still wondering whats going on in everyones life! Well thats all for now love you all and just don't forget your favorite missionary thats 6000 miles away from you all right now haha.

Ok the mtc is kinda of a drag not going to lie and it feels like we are in a prision but it is an excellent experiance that has helped me grow a lot! I will not be seding a lot of personal hand written letters becuase it is so EXPENSIVE! I spend 7000 Paso's which is about 15 bucks to send 14 letters! If you get a letter don't send one to the return adress because I am not sure if its right or not. they changed everything up around here so it's been really confusing on getting the right adresses and stuff. But I will still send a couple now and then! So heres another good story for you guys. Me and elder brooks where chillen in the front of the mtc next to the street during our lunch time after we had already ate and this werid dude started making faces at us and stuff. through the gate. I started laughing because I had been having a pretty rotten day so far and I thought he was trying to be funny or something. It was really creppy though because he just kept making that face at me... and was stiking his head through the gate. then he started danicing around and started saying a bunch of devil chants and stuff like he was trying to cast a spell or something on us and I am just super happy that I had my garments on because I know that they will protect me from things like that... I proably shouldn't of said cool Its more like really creppy. It gave me the chills literally. One of the gaurds that we have at the CCM aka MTC told us to go inside  because that guy had a gun Apperantly they had issues with this guy before.... IT was really creepy though and he was waving his hands around and doing all this werid stuff like he was trying to cast a spell on us. There is a lot a Voodo where I am going which is really creepy. Any ways Things down here are super expensive I will have to be carefule with my money or I will run out really fast. so I can't buy a whole lot of stuff. My bro Adam Mitchell gave me some great advice today in a email he told me That this mission is for the people not for me. Thats what I am going to focus on for now on I didn't come here to help it improve my life I came here to help improve other peoples lifes. I am so happy to be here. Although it is really scary around here and the dogs are EVERYWHERE! I am so happy to have two weeks down in the MTC and can't wait to really get out there. The laugague is tough not going to lie I am struggling a little bit with it. But I know through the power of the lord anything is possible. For those thinking about a mission. This is not all goodey good I just baptized 20 people in a week lots of fun easy and always doing good always happy as the movies make it look. It is a straight up crap storm out here. It is really tough and a lot of werid stuff happens I am not even going to write about some stuff I don't think that's happend to me so far and I am still in the MTC. It is not happy a lot of the time it is hard out here! But I know that at the end of each day that it is the best thing I could ever do and I know that with hardwork and dedication I can bless the lifes of people that need the gosple and I am so greatful for this. and I am so excited to acctually get out in the feild. I can't wait to hear from you all. Be good out there everyone! Love you all!

Hey so its your home boy lance reporting from Chile today! As you guessed its ghetto as all heck down here but its been way cool! sorry for all the typos in here I have to be fast and the keyboards are super goofy down here! But any way it is amazing down here as you can tell by some of the pictures. The city is vast the first picture I took was of all the people coming to the same mission as me thats right we are all going to the west mission! The MTC is great the laungauge is defeinelty killing me off right now though but I have had a lot of great experiances and it hasnt even been a full week yet! My first companion is Elder Brooks from Brigham City Utah which is way cool! He is a great kid and has an excellent testimony to him. The city is crazy! one of the advantages we have is we get to go out to the city on Pdays and we get to walk around! Well I had an amazing mircle happen to me at the Airport when I got here. I left my binder that had my social security card and my birth certificate and my visa to chile at the airport we where in the van when I realized it and we had no way of going back back becasue of the fact that the dude driving us didnt know any english at all! So I knew I was in trouble but as soon as we got to the MTC I said a paryer and knew it would all be okay. So what happend was I told my mssion president about it and he was like yeah your kinda in the hurt locker right now dude and didn{t know what to really do. But here is the amazing part some dude came to the mtc like literally drove there and it wasnt just a short little drive around the park it was like a good 40 minute drive with traffic and droped it off at the mtc and gave it to the gards there! I know the gospel is ture! I forgot to ask what the address is but I am running out of time I hope the pictures send the email thing was freaking out. I promise to send personal emails later. I will mail personal letters next week to all of the people that gave me there addresses! Hey I want to here from you all! Tell me whats up! Also a word of wisdom if you ever come down here dont ask what the meat is that they serve here literally no joke the other day I got some kind of something that looked like beef but it had a hot dog in the middle of it some how.... I dont want to know what it was... Yes the rabie infested dogs are real out here we get to go running to a park and play soccor every day and I have already been bit twice now good thing I can run when I see a dog... The people are crazy down here too.. But I wish you all the best and I hope you guys get this love elder johnson. P.S I promise it will be longer next week the keyboards here are really werid but I am sort of getting use to it. Love you all!
